Tunya Bingham is the founder of the Metropolitan Academy for Boys, a charter public school slated to open in 2016, in the Richmond, Virginia public school system. Ms. Bingham played the first world peace game in 1978, herself! The Metropolitan Academy for Boys will feature the world peace game as a central part of their core curriculum. Bingham spoke to the International teachers group at the Charlottesville Master Class.

Another of John’s former student players, a veteran WPG player of 15 years ago, Grace Payne, also gave a brief address about her experience and remembrance of the Game. Grace is now a Jr. at Yale University, majoring in Political Science.
